Description
This patient had chronic pain due to compression of the common peroneal nerve and neuromas of the sural nerve and the superficial peroneal nerve that were causing severe pain to the top and outside of her foot due to a previous injury and the surgery that was performed to fix it. She could not stand to touch the top of the foot due to the sensitivity and burning pain. We removed the sensory nerves of the sural and the superficial peroneal nerve, and decompressed the nerves to the leg muscles at the common peroneal nerve at the knee.
