This patient suffered from a compression of the common peroneal nerve and superficial peroneal nerve that caused severe burning pain down the outside of her leg to the top of her foot, and she had pain in her left knee even after a total knee replacement. She had a two stage procedure. First we decompressed her common and superficial peroneal nerve which improved her burning leg pain and improved her walking. Second we removed two nerves to the knee joint itself which dramatically relieved her residual knee pain.
